Talbot solicits Kean to become a steward on the occasion of the annual festival of the London Society for the Protection of Young Females. Address on item: 28 New Broad Street, London. Signed James Beard Talbot, secretary. At the top of the letter, in Kean's hand: "Can't do it - too busy - & I have, as it is, to protect a great many young females, C.K."
